A & J Luxury Event Planning LLC is established as a Limited Liability Company. The business is owned equally among the two business partners Allenia Marcelle and Julisa Nicholas. A & J aims to answer to the demands of the social world such as the working family, heavily-burdened office, out-of-town business individuals, or special occasions in need of luxury event recognition. As a business, we understand the needs of public and private organizations and strive to create events that are both memorable and cost-effective.

Luxe Event for a Cause non-profit cares about our people and our community so throughout the calendar year, we will be partnering up with three non-profit organizations to  sponsor our event planning services and help fundraise for the cause!

Dr. Allenia Marcelle

 

Wedding & Event Planner 

Allenia Marcelle is a Co-Founder of A & J Luxury Event Planning, a Certified Wedding Planner, and a Certified Event Manager. She holds a Doctorate Business Administration degree with a focus in Event Management Education and a Master of Business Administration degree. After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree, Allenia spent over ten years working for numerous businesses in the hospitality and event industry. During this time, she became familiar with a wide range of companies and learned the ins and outs of the event planning industry, including how to effectively connect and cater to people. She is a perfectionist who is dedicated to achieving your dream luxury vision and is committed to personalizing your designs to match your vision and style.

Allenia is passionate and committed to helping people. Both in and out of her professional life, she is always finding ways to plan fun and memorable events for those around her. She has leveraged her experience working with various planners to create a unique coordination style. She specializes in personalizing events for each client and handling stressful event situations with grace. Her signature is creative, planning, and executing an event with incredible attention to detail and a structured and logistical event flow.

Allenia enjoys trying new restaurants, hiking, cooking, traveling, spending time with family, and wine tasting. In her free time, she can be found perusing art museums, finding something new to learn, or scheduling her next trip.

Julisa Nicholas

Picnic Enthusiast & Event Designer
COO

Julisa Nicholas, Co-Founder, is an energetic, well-spoken,  competent and capable event planner with four years of experience in the industry. Julisa is pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business Law and Marketing from Brooklyn College. While in college,  Julisa founded The Picnicenthuasit and has acquainted herself with the event planning industry by coordinating events for nonprofit organizations, intimate gatherings, and religious soirées.

Julisa's passion for event planning started when she realized she spare-headed most events that took place while volunteering in college and growing up at home. Julisa has four years in the industry and does her best to execute the event with poise and agility. Julisa founded ThePicnicEnthusiast, a Luxury Picnic service that creates unforgettable memories for individuals indoors or outdoors they will never forget. Julisa has always had a fondness for nature and unique experiences, she  is a social butterfly who loves creating luxury experiences for clients to remember. 

 

Julisa loves outdoor adventures, volunteering, ice skating, and thrifting vintage finds. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family, pets and taking day trips to soak in the different cultures NYC has to offer.

Tayisha Augustin, a dedicated and enthusiastic wedding and event planner consultant at A & J Luxury Event Planning. With a strong passion for cooking, she holds an Associate degree in the Culinary Arts and a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Business Management. Over the course of more than 10 years, she has honed her skills in various customer service establishments, earning the trust of valued clients who rely on her expertise in wardrobe, catering, decorations, and planning advice. Her ultimate goal is customer satisfaction, and she takes great care and patience in building individual relationships with each client. She has a keen eye for capturing smiles and ensuring satisfaction.

Tayisha is an experienced professional who knows how to make her customers feel cared for, comfortable, and confident. As an empathetic nurturer, she genuinely loves helping people and finds joy in witnessing their happiness. She thrives in social gatherings and excels at strategic problem-solving during unforeseen setbacks. Creativity is one of her greatest strengths, as she possesses the ability to bring her clients' ideas to life. Once the ideas start flowing, this social butterfly unveils her numerous talents acquired through her impressive achievements.

Born in the Caribbean, Tayisha embraces the pineapple icon of hospitality, which has become the essence of her life. She enjoys traveling, swimming, dancing, and indulging in fine dining experiences. Above all, after God, family is her top priority. Her most significant achievement is being a caring mother, devoted daughter, and loyal sister to her five siblings. The kitchen is her sanctuary, where she radiates with joy as she transforms basic foods into culinary masterpieces.
