Policy & Service Agreement

Blohm & Promise Events / The Silk Blohm Co. Thank you for booking your officiant services with us! To ensure your ceremony is seamless and stress-free, please review the following policies carefully. By booking, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. 1. Services Provided Our officiant service includes: A professional, licensed officiant to conduct your ceremony. Consultation to discuss ceremony structure, vows, and special requests. Rehearsal (if included in your package). Travel to and from the ceremony location within the agreed service area. Ceremony script preparation (standard or customized as requested). Additional services such as extended rehearsal, custom rituals, or multiple ceremony locations may incur additional fees. 2. Booking & Retainer A non-refundable retainer of 50% is required to secure your ceremony date. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks prior to the event date. No officiant services are confirmed until the retainer and signed contract are received. 3. Cancellation & Postponement Cancellations: All retainer payments are non-refundable. Cancellations within 30 days of the event require full payment. Postponements: Date changes are subject to officiant availability. Additional fees may apply if extra preparation or travel is required. 4. Ceremony Timing Standard ceremonies are up to 30 minutes. Additional time or overtime is billed at $100 per 15 minutes. The officiant will arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony to prepare. 5. Travel & Venue Requirements Travel within a 30-mile radius of the agreed location is included; travel beyond this range may incur additional fees. Clients must provide clear directions and parking instructions. Officiant requires a safe, accessible area to conduct the ceremony. 6. Legal Requirements It is the client’s responsibility to provide valid marriage license and complete all legal paperwork. The officiant cannot perform the ceremony without the required legal documentation. 7. Liability The officiant is responsible for providing professional ceremony services. Blohm & Promise Events / The Silk Blohm Co. is not liable for delays, venue issues, or actions by third-party vendors or guests. 8. Photography & Media The officiant may allow photos or video during the ceremony. Vendor reserves the right to use images or media for marketing purposes unless otherwise requested in writing.
